Details
The ASSOS EQUIPE RS Winter LS Mid Layer is a high-insulation Thermobooster designed to turn a lightweight shell or spring/fall jacket into a true cold-weather system. Worn over a base layer and beneath an outer shell, it traps heat while allowing internal moisture to escape, helping maintain a warm, dry microclimate during winter rides.
OSMOS Heavy provides ASSOS’s warmest brushed insulation with stretch and breathability. An integrated hood and face cover use lighter OSMOS material for comfortable protection beneath a helmet. When temperatures rise or the road turns uphill, the low-volume layer can be removed and packed into a pocket.
Key Features
- Heavyweight OSMOS insulation for cold conditions
- Soft brushed inner face with moisture management
- Integrated hood and face cover
- Lightly compressive raceFit
- Low-volume construction that layers beneath aerodynamic shells
- Packable design for changing conditions

Fit and sizing
Fit and sizing
Meant to sit right against the skin with no gaps, so it works under a close jersey. Sized 0, I, II, III by chest rather than S to XL. The chart maps each number to your jersey size.
ASSOS sizes run slimmer than most cycling brands, and the race-cut pieces slimmer still. Measure before you order rather than going by the size you wear elsewhere.
The chart for this item is on our ASSOS size guide.
Still not sure? Email a fitter your height, weight and usual jersey size and we'll tell you which one to order.

03 / Questions
Before you order.
Why is it this cheap?
It is last season's stock from our own shelf. Assos does not change much year to year, so you get the same jacket at a price the brand will not let a full retailer show. One of each size in most of it, so once a size is gone it is gone.
Is it genuine?
Yes. Authorized Assos dealer stock, bought from Assos, shipped from Culpeper, Virginia. Tags on, in the original packaging.
What if the size is wrong?
Clearance stock is one of each size, so it is worth getting it right the first time. Email your height, weight and usual size before you order and a fitter tells you which one.
Can I try it on?
If you are near Culpeper, yes. Reserve it online and we hold it at the studio for you to try on.
